Meeting of startups at UG Meet. How it was.

The UserGroup meeting, announced some time ago, took place - a meeting of startupers is safely combined with a story about Microsoft's capabilities, barbecue, beer and just pleasant communication in nature.

For those who are interested - a story about how it was (there will be an occasion to come next time;))

    UG Meet. How it was.

Let’s omit the background - holding electricity to a wild meadow, dragging a heap of equipment through a ravine (this is cooler than any fitness!), Hanging, screwing up, adjusting everything and any other joys that inevitably fall to the lot of orgs is an extremely interesting thing, but it is better for guests not to know about this backstage)).

Although no, perhaps I will show one picture, very artistic. Pull-pull - a tent designed to save participants and equipment from the rain. Nature, however, was merciful.

So, lucky with the weather - despite all the assurances of weather forecasters in a nightmare nightmare. Indeed, if a lot of people want something good, it will certainly happen.
Not so many people came, but if you take the average density of participants per square meter of developed territory, it will turn out to be even higher than that of iCamp :).

The number of people can be seen in Soshnikov’s album , but I don’t load it ... The

youth audience was also present ...

... and even offered all possible help ...

    Next generation :)

The people were met with the promised kebab.

And also with beer, clay, cola ...

    (not filmed).

People reacted extremely rarely to beer, although there were only 4 people driving, of which two orgas :), but the shish kebab attracted the attention of the audience and grabbed it instantly.

But much more attention was paid to the actual performances, for the sake of which (we hope that it was for their sake, and not for the sake of barbecue :)) that the people got out to a rally.

    Forward to new technologies

Speeches began with introducing the audience to the capabilities of the Imagine Cup and Microsoft Business start programs. Everyone knows that a good idea is not enough for a successful project - the lion's share of the effort is in its implementation, and confident “senior comrades”, in our case, Microsoft, help young innovators today.

Microsoft Innovation Center - low bow for helping organize the rally!

Further, with small breaks for beer and barbecue, performances by young startupers followed.
The My Range team was the first to submit their offspring to the public , presenting a bluetooth network project that in the future will allow us to take our contacts and dating management to a new level using bluetooth in mobile devices.

    The audience is

listening. Blue- toothed MyRange was followed by the presentation of the DYK project from the Gendix team . Abbreviation DYK stands for Do You Know and is a knowledge management system designed to bring together all the advantages of suschestvuschih system of questions and answers and to expand the number of channels, which is available to ask questions and receive answers (for example, by creating a mobile client)

The audience continues to listen to the

last (the kebab was just starting to end) the QRPR project from the IT Arts team appeared before the public. The project is a new tool for managing offline marketing companies using QR codes widely known abroad and not yet familiar to the Russian public . With the help of this project and its sister - SyncFox ( UG Meet website was made by the way ) - IT Arts also hopes to make life easier for users of discount and bonus plastic cards in the near future by collecting all the discounts and bonuses on their mobile phones.

    Your questions?

By the end of the third performance, we symbolically ran out of electricity, and, indeed, the day was drawing to a close, so the final photos, exchanges of contacts, eating food and drinking drinks successfully completed the event and left hope for it to be repeated.

    Give me two!

The speakers received gifts from the Microsoft Innovation Center, all participants got t-shirts - from him :)

    In general, good!

To the organizers and participants - thanks!

    Until next time :)

    Finishing work ...
