HP has released a laptop, breaking a fresh 19-hour Dell record (Latitude E series). More precisely, we are talking about the additional configuration of the recently appeared on the market EliteBook 6930p , the life of which from one recharge of "ultra-capacious battery" is 24 hours.
The EliteBook 6930p upgrade includes a new HP Illumi-Lite LED display, an Intel SSD 80 GB SSD (optional) and a new 12-cell Ultra Capacity Battery. To achieve the desired result (those same 24 hours of work), the laptop user will need to additionally download a new BIOS from HP and drivers for integrated video from Intel. New customers, of course, will receive everything at once.
The weight of the laptop in the original configuration is 2.1 kg. The new battery will add another 0.8 kg. The price of the battery is $ 189. So in this case there is a choice. It’s easier and cheaper (an original without an SSD costs $ 1199) or more expensive and heavier, but it takes a whole day (according to the manufacturer) to work.
