Google refuses support of Google Browser Sync in Firefox 3

Today, one of the activists of the support movement in Firefox 3 of this extension published a letter from Google. Here is a free translation:

Thanks for trying Google Browser Sync and for your feedback. It was not easy, but we decided to remove the support for Browser Sync. Since the team was moved to other projects in which they are constantly engaged, we have not had time to update the extension or to continue to support it.

For those who decide to continue to use Firefox 2, we will continue to support during 2008. Also, we can recommend several other products that solve the same problem. We hope one of them works for you:

Mozilla Weave [labs.mozilla.com] by Mozilla Labs - Offers synchronization of bookmarks and history between multiple computers.
Google Toolbar for Firefox [toolbar.google.com] - Stores your bookmarks on the network and provides access to them from any computer over the network.
Foxmarks Bookmark Synchronizer [addons.mozilla.org]  - Syncs all your bookmarks between the computers where it is installed.

    Sincerely,
    The Google Team.
