So, two (one for sure =) wonderful products for rail-developers quietly and imperceptibly rolled out.
A little help:
Phusion Passenger - a module for Apache, which allows you to run rail applications. Forget the Mongrels =) Now rolling out a rail application is no more difficult than phpshnoe.
Ruby Enterprise Edition is a version of the ruby interpreter that will reduce memory consumption by rail applications and increase speed. I have not had time to try this thing myself, but I will try in the near future.
