Customer view on the interaction with the contractor

People who were not corporate Jedi, who did not get hardened in the battles of scheduled battles, will not understand the most important task of the customer ...

I’m talking about the stated deadlines.
The project manager on the side of the contractor is busy collecting requirements, setting goals and distributing tasks between the resource. Reporting mainly comes from funds provided to the company and closed projects. In such conditions, the optimal use of the resource is a priority.

However, let's take a look at the situation from the side of the customer manager.
Each company is an organism designed to produce a product. Material or non-material - does not matter. And if the web studio product is websites, then the product of the customer company is another product for the sale of which tools are needed.

Here I want to draw attention to the difference in the concept of site perception. For an artist, a site is a product. For the customer - a tool. From here we can understand that the delay in the creation of the site for the contractor ultimately leads to profit (receiving payment for the site), and for the customer to lost profit.

Discovering the fundamental differences in the approach to creating a site, we see that time is the most important factor in creating sites.

But these are fundamental things that no one thinks about. The problem, in fact, is more commonplace and lies on the surface.

When developing complex multi-site systems with centralized management, a clear synchronization of work is required for both the contractor and the customer. For this, project managers agree on the order and terms of interaction, plan the stages of work, distribute the load, prescribe and detail tasks. And then the manager on the part of the customer agrees with the responsible departments about related work. And those, in turn, include them in the work schedules ...

And here the most important problem is revealed - failure to meet deadlinesfrom the side of the contractor leads to disruption of the terms of work of departments within the customer company! All this results in loss of bonuses, conflicts, the complexity of planning the loading of specialists within the company and, ultimately, the execution of a responsible Internet project manager!

Comrades, take care of your colleagues! It’s better to tell the time with a margin so that the client manager can report on the early implementation of the project phase, rather than a person who, through your fault, will be reprimanded and deprived of a well-deserved bonus.

    That's all love, actually :)
