How to make a helicopter from the old Civic, or African home-made aviation

Twenty-four-year-old physics student Mubarak Muhammad Abdullahi from northern Nigeria dismantles old cars and motorcycles in his yard and makes helicopters out of these parts.
“I assembled this helicopter in eight months,” he says, filling the radiator of a yellow four-seater helicopter parked on campus. The helicopter, which has already flown six times, is made of aluminum scrap, which Abdullahi bought for the money earned by fixing computers and mobile phones, as well as for the money of his father, who teaches at a local university.
