How is this done?

- Lock Opera

(if you do not know where your profile folder is located, first look at the path to it through Help > About > Opera directory)

- in your profile folder, find and open the file speeddial.ini
- after the comments header, paste the following code, then save the file:

Rows=4
Columns=5

- run the Opera! ;)

Naturally, instead of 4and 5you can enter any number you want, but, as the discoverer of this hidden feature - the Dutchman Remco Lanting writes - with too many cells in the SpeedDial Opera can slow down a lot, so know the measure :)

UPD: As it turned out, this The feature works exclusively in version 9.5 beta 2.

when synchronizing with Opera Mini on the mobile phone, only the first 9 bookmarks will be presented, synchronization with another desktop version will work without problems, but, of course, you must first correct speeddial.iniit in the second copy of the browser.

UPD2: The number of cells can also be reduced. It is useful in two cases:
- if you do not use all the cells, and do not like graphic garbage
- if you have a widescreen monitor: you can make yourself 4 × 2, for example :)
