How usability is natural for the world around us.

How common is the concept of usability with the world around us? Is it artificially created, as a result of human activity, or is nature also guided by the principles of convenience?

To understand this, you need to consider typical scenarios of a person, and the most natural of them. Separately, I note that most processes in humans are generally automated, for example, we should not think about the necessary amount of gastric juice for digesting food, right? Those. we study only the processes in which our consciousness participates and note to ourselves the convenience of automation.

Among other things, you should immediately determine what usability is, because disputes are mainly born due to the difference in definitions. Simplify it to "usability."

The sample may not be representative, but further discussion should resolve the issue.
    So, for examples:

    1. Food collection

A rather controversial point: some fruits / vegetables are convenient to collect, others require physical preparation (getting a coconut) and I won’t say that it’s convenient to climb on a bare palm, and you’ll burn your hands to go down.

If you want meat, you need to make a tool, catch the beast, kill it, and heat treat it on fire.

If we assume that you can live on vegetables, fruits, mushrooms and water from the river, collecting food is quite usable - hands (in particular fingers) are adapted to collect such things.

    2. Eating

Everything is very usable here: hands, teeth, saliva. Putting food in your mouth and chewing is basically not difficult and quite convenient. Large pieces can be torn by hand. Again, if without meat.

    3. Sex

If you do not consider courtship, the process itself is quite convenient. Those. Lubrication and a certain form were also invented, i.e. everything seems to be usable here?

    4. Raising offspring

Basic things are transmitted through instincts, again automation of the process. The experience of generations is transmitted by training. Not the most convenient process, although perhaps earlier the children studied without being distracted by computers and cartoons.

    5. Sleep

Sleep allows you to quickly restore strength, the transition to a state of sleep is quite convenient. Especially in that dream that the primitive people had - they rushed for the whole day and sleep without hind legs.

    AND?

As a result, I can assume that usability is inherent in us and the surrounding world by nature itself. But this can only be said of the minimum set of things necessary for survival. Any delights (meat, fire, coconuts) already require effort and non-standard logic for those times.

I believe that the approach is justified when building interfaces: we display on the first screens only the most necessary things, those that require mass. All the rest should be hidden on secondary pages, because this is prompted by nature itself.
