and therefore do not store passwords

PassworMaker logoTo have strong passwords for all sites it is not necessary to store them somewhere. There is a wonderful addition to FireFox (there are other adaptations) that allows you to generate a password based on the domain of the site and the master password. One such addition is the PASSWORD MAKER .

The main point of this application is the automatic generation of a strong password based on certain criteria. The main ones are the domain and the master password. In this case, the final result can be affected by the username you set for this site, the hash algorithm, the length of the final password, the character set and order of the characters to generate, the modifier (the phrase that is stored in the program settings and making banal password interceptors irrelevant), custom prefix and end of password.

The program allows you to not only generate passwords, but also conveniently configures for the sites you visit. So you can use the same settings for .ru domains, and completely different for .ua domains. Such flexibility allows to further increase the reliability of the received passwords and minimize the danger of keyloggers.

The plugin functionality is much higher than I could describe in this short review. I especially want to draw your attention to the fact that this programactively developed and based on JavaScript, and accordingly will work in any browser with its support. Details can be found on the official PASSWORD MAKER program website in excellent documentation .
