We write correctly

The other day I had a need to check spelling during communication, otherwise mistakes sometimes very much distort the meaning of messages. ;)
Fortunately, the search for the spell checker turned out to be successful - SpellChecker - was it really hard to guess? :))

Well, well, let's see what it is and what it can.

    Installation
    1. The archive with the plugin contains the spellcheckerW.dll plugin itself , which must be placed in the Plugins folder in the folder with Miranda. Also in the archive there is a Docs folder for fans to read; :))
    2. also for work, in addition to the plugin itself, you need a dictionary for spell checking from OpenOffice . In the archive with the dictionary, we only need the xx_XX.dic and xx_XX.aff files , where xx_XX is the dictionary language. To check Russian spelling, there is a dictionary ru_RU_ye , which uses the letter "E" instead of the letter " ё ", and ru_RU_yo , in which, in fact, all words with the letter "ё" are written with the letter "ё".

      The xx_XX.dic and xx_XX.aff files must be placed in the Dictionaries folder in the Miranda folder, after removing _yo or _ye in the file names, depending on which dictionary you are installing;
    3. then you need to restart Miranda, if it was turned on.

    Settings

In the standard Russification settings for this plugin are not translated. Let's see what we have:
    Miranda Settings - Spellchecker
If everything was correct in the previous paragraphs, then in the Default language box you should see Russian [ru_RU] .

Auto-correct words - includes automatic correction of misspelled words, but during the experiment I found out that auto-correction works only for those words for which you enable it in the context menu in the chat window.

Ignore words in UPPER CASE - ignores errors in words written in upper case.

Unerline type- Appearance of underlining misspelled words. There are 7 options to choose from: line (apparently Line, i.e. just a line), dotted (dashed, but for some reason I displayed it as a stroke), dash (stroke), dash dot (dash-dotted line), dash dot dot ( dot-dot-dash), wave (a wavy line, set by default) and thick (apparently Strong, i.e. a thick line). I tried all the options and still stopped on a wavy line.

Show corrections in submenu - offers the correct spelling of a misspelled word in the context menu.

Show all corrections in context menu - offers the correct spelling of a misspelled word in the submenu of the context menu. Slows down. Why done - it is not clear. :))

Show wrong word- shows the incorrectly spelled word in the context menu.

Flags - use flags. Or simply icons for different dictionaries.

    Chat

Judging by the description, this plugin works only with srmm plugins for chat, namely: SRMM, tabSRMM and Scriver. This may mean that it will not work in nConverse.

    Where to get

    Dictionaries - wiki.services.openoffice.org/wiki/Dictionaries
    Plugin - forums.miranda-im.org/showthread.php?t=11555
Assembly for the lazy - download and unzip it to the Miranda folder.

    Use it!
