Experian bought Hitwise for $ 240 million

    Hitwise , an internet traffic research agency , recently acquired Experian , an online marketing company , for $ 240 million .

    After the deal is concluded, Hitwise will continue to operate under its own brand, with Experian capacity and the ability to enter new markets. Hitwise currently serves around 1,200 customers, including Yahoo, Google, Ask.com, MTV and other large companies.
