Skype Launches First Mobile Service
Skype, together with the operator 3 Group, launches the first mobile VoIP service.
Simply put, now 3 Group customers will be able to make free calls to each other, as well as to Skype users around the world using the service through a PC. For this, 3 Group subscribers need to connect to one of the new tariff plans, including a VoIP service, InfoWorld writes . The cost of these plans, however, has not yet been determined by the operator, but calls will be unlimited. Client software for mobile phones will be almost identical to the Skype computer application.
