ITunes Store Earned One Million For Disney Company

In the first week of its operation, the iTunes Store video store earned a million dollars in sales of Walt Disney movies. This is so far the only company that has agreed to sell the products of its film studios via iTunes. About 75 films produced by Pixar, Touchstone and Miramax are now available on the site. Video files are sold in 640x480 format at prices ranging from $ 10 to $ 15 per movie. Over the first week, more than 125 thousand files were sold.

According to Disney marketers, by the end of the year, the virtual marketplace should bring them about $ 50 million - and this is without the least cost of marketing or advertising.
