Valuehost avenges customers

    In late June, a technical failure occurred on the servers of the Valuehost hosting provider, as a result of which data from 500 sites were lost. The company did not back up information (although it promised to do so), so customer data was permanently lost. The flow of complaints about Valuehost is growing, and some of the victims may be able to resolve the situation by the court.

    Valuehost's behavior towards customers can be called aggressive. So, after the publication of an article in CNews containing a comment by the management of the Esms online store (the store was “lost” due to a technical malfunction), the hosting company blocked the domain www.esms.ru , which was paid a month in advance.

    In one of Valuehost's letters to Esms, the domain was blocked after an article appeared on CNews. “Also on esms.ru, which, nevertheless, continued to be hosted with us, there was a call to file a lawsuit against our company,” a CNews quoted Valuehost letter said . The provider promises to remove the lock after removing the call from the store’s website. In compensation, the company offers 1 month of free hosting.
