Russian Railways and Pochta Rossii are testing a national instant messenger for business, TASS reports . This software is called Sibrus, and its main advantage is a strong encryption system. Communication takes place not only in text mode: the messenger allows you to communicate by voice and establish a conference call. It is possible to share files, users get at their disposal cloud storage.
“There are pilot projects in large organizations: in the Russian Railways and in the Russian Post,” said Vladimir Pivovarov, a representative of the developer company. The messenger has been tested for about a year.
In the “Post of Russia” they report that the department has been looking for a domestic product for a long time, but so far “there was nothing more interesting”. There are some developments that offer the exchange of text or files, but there is no cumulative equivalent. “We just need a secure messenger, including for management. There are plans to introduce such a system, ”said Maxim Markov, head of the information security department at the Russian Post. The system can be implemented by the end of this year.
