Offensive Security app store with hacking tools from Android
Offensive Security announced the July 16 launch of the Kali Net Hunter App Store with free information security related apps.
Kali NetHunter is an Android penetration testing platform. Recently, it has undergone many changes and today supports more than 50 Android devices (from KitKat v4.4 to Pie v9.0).
NetHunter storage, originally designed to conveniently manage packages only on NetHunter devices, has been made available to other devices. Of the advantages we can distinguish:
- ease of use and convenience in the Google Play Store;
- freedom, anonymity and confidentiality of downloaded applications.
The Kali NetHunter App Store is a one-stop shop for information security applications and an alternative to the Google Play store for any Android device (with / without root privileges, for NetHunter and other Android devices).
Thanks to the work of the F-Droid community , in particular Peter Servaylo , whose work has made an invaluable contribution, the NetHunter store now runs on a modified version of F-Droid . While when installing the original F-Droid with telemetry disabled, consent is requested before sending crash reports, here all the code designed to implement this functionality is deleted. This is to ensure that privacy cannot be compromised by accident. It was also allowed to use their own applications in the store.
In order for your application to be included in the NetHunter App Store, you need to write here or here .
