Kotlin / Everywhere - Showcase practice: July 31


    On July 31, we invite you to the Moscow office of Mail.ru Group at the Kotlin / Everywhere meeting. The event program reports on the experience of using Coroutines, DSL in Kotlin and testing.

    What will be discussed:

    • evolutionary change of source codes;
    • problems we encountered while writing tests;
    • benefits of translating tests to Kotlin.

    “The experience of using channels in coroutines in a combat project”

    Channels are a way to transfer data flow between coroutines. This report will discuss the experience of using corutin and channels in our new project Maroussia:

    • Why did we decide to use the channels, despite the experimental status, and were there any alternatives?
    • How did we use the channels, and how to use it correctly?
    • And also about how I had to write a couple of operators from Rx, and how can I replace them?
