Communication as a brake for Web 2.0

Web 2.0 is often discussed on this site, and many examples of projects such as YouTube are provided. But there is one “but”: each new round in the development of such projects requires more and more traffic and bandwidth from Internet users.

I’m unlikely to use YouTube in the near future. For me, even LJ is a “gluttonous monster”. I think that I am not the only one in Russia.

I spent several thousand rubles on Wikipedia in the form of “communication payment cards”. Both I and Wikipedia could better manage that money :)

So at the moment for me, first of all, page size and the like are important, and this directly affects the attractiveness of the project from my point of view.

The need to save money causes a pragmatic attitude towards the Web. Will my children see unlimited internet?
