[Yekaterinburg, announcement] Flutteron - a workshop on development on Flutter
Flutter received a stable version only half a year ago, but already gathered seventy thousand stars on Github and entered the main stack of many large companies .
In order to keep up with global trends, contourists under the supervision of the Google Developers Group conduct a workshop on writing interfaces on Flutter. We’ll study the main features of the platform, get acquainted with the Dart language, learn how to implement fantastic animations and create our own applications.
The workshop will be held in Yekaterinburg on Saturday, July 20, at the Kontur development office. We start at 10:30, finish at 19:30. There will be three reports, seven hours of team work and presentation of the results.
We are waiting for developers for Android and iOS, front-end, back-end and anyone who wants to learn how to write mobile applications.
Registration for the workshop .
What will happen at the workshop?
Our developers have prepared three reports for quick immersion in the platform:
- Lyosha Panov will note the important features of Flutter for a beginner, make a review of the must-have widgets and give a few tricks and tips for working in the IDE.
- Lyosha Kolesov will talk about the main constructs of the Dart language and show nice features that are not in Kotlin or Swift.
- Ilya Sedov will teach you how to properly build application navigation and how to prepare animation in Flutter.
The remaining seven hours will be devoted to practice: you will need to choose one of the three proposed applications and implement MVP. Our developers will take on the role of mentors and help design and implement convenient and eye-pleasing applications.
At the end, the mentors will analyze complex cases, show the most successful implementations and invite participants to continue communication in the local bar.
What to do while waiting?
- Install Flutter and IDE plugins so you don’t waste time setting up during the event
- Subscribe to the workshop news channel so you don’t miss anything important ️
And we also collected recommendations for independent study of the platform. It is not necessary to study them, but they will help to spend time at the workshop most productively:
- Watch a boring show from Google
- Read about the basics of Flutter on Habré here and here
- Go through the Flutter documentation
See you!
