Sony News at MWC 2016: Xperia X, Xperia X Performance and Xperia XA

At the MWC 2016 exhibition in Barcelona, Sony immediately released three models from the new line - Xperia X, Xperia X Performance and Xperia XA. A trio of beginners, hidden in a case with rounded corners, is controlled by the Android 6.0 Marshmallow operating system and offers the same display diagonal of 5 inches.

The most affordable will be the Xperia XA. This smartphone received a 5-inch HD-display (720x1280 pixels), a MediaTek Helio P10 MT6755 chipset, 2 GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory, as well as a pair of cameras - the main 13 MP and front-facing 8 MP. Battery capacity - 2300 mAh, dimensions - 143.6 x 66.8 x 7.9 mm, and weight - 137.4 grams.

As for the Xperia X Performance and Xperia X models, they have more similarities than differences. In both cases, we are talking about the resolution of the Full HD screen, 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal memory, a 23-megapixel main camera with predictive hybrid autofocus, which predicts the trajectory of the subject. The Xperia X Performance uses a more advanced chip (Qualcomm Snapdragon 820) than the Xperia X (Qualcomm Snapdragon 650). The battery capacity of the first model is 2700 mAh, the second - 2620 mAh.

The sizes of the models are almost the same: 142.7 x 69.4 x 7.9 mm / 153 grams in the Xperia X versus 144.8 x 71.1 x 7.6 mm / 165 grams in the Xperia X Performance. A fingerprint sensor is built into the side power button of these devices.

All three innovations support removable microSD memory cards (up to 200 GB) and proprietary energy-saving technologies that will allow them to work up to two days without recharging. Smartphones will be available in four colors: white, graphite black, lime gold and rose gold.
