Opera Presto updated to version 12.18

Many fans of the Opera browser were depressed at changing the engine from Presto to Blink in 2013. The loss of a huge amount of functionality that made Opera Presto a unique browser, the much greater glut of RAM in the Blink version - these are two main reasons for the indignation of old users.

The last update of Opera Presto version 12.17 was released in 2014 and was, as it were, the last. Nothing foreshadowed, especially against the backdrop of news about the purchase of the company by the Chinese , and now, suddenly, our favorite browser is updated to version 12.18 .

Of the changes, it can be noted:
    • Added support for ECC and GCM encryption
    • A set of ciphers, as in other modern browsers
    • Disabled TLS RC4 Encryption Algorithm
    • TLS 1.2 support enabled by default

Also, developers once again call to upgrade to Opera Blink the latest version, because with the support of new technologies it is slightly better than in the lost (unfortunately) full support for Opera Presto developers.

Recall how the correct browser should look.
