The world's first pocket hexacopter for $ 18 - MJX X901
I recently talked about the first two models presented by MJI, which pleasantly surprised me. In the MJX X800 , the company's engineers combined stick management with tilt control, and the MJX X600 was given the function of returning to a point without using satellites. And this time they decided to surprise us with size and price, releasing a hexacopter the size of a matchbox and costing a little more than 18 bucks. Meet the MJX X901
The box itself is small, in which the copter, remote control, charging and spare blades fit ergonomically.
The battery here is built-in and not removable, we insert the connector into therear connector and in about 30 minutes the quadrocopter is back in operation.
The remote control is powered by two pinky batteries, especially without requiring power. My tired batteries from the TV remote - perfectly fit.
It has only 2 buttons and 2 sticks. Buttons are needed to adjust the flight of the quadrocopter, that is, if during takeoff it pulls to the right, then you need to use the lower trimmer to make a few clicks to the left, etc. Sticks can not only bend in all directions, but also can be pressed to control functions. More about them later.
In flight, surprisingly stable enough, probably due to 6 blades. Surprisingly, since usually the smaller the quadrocopter, the more difficult it is to operate it smoothly. Stability also helps 6-axis stabilization system, which is now put on all high-quality quadrocopters.
Surprisingly, the main learning / amusing functions, namely flips (somersaults) and three speed levels, were put into this little thing.
Since there are no additional buttons on the remote, the speeds are switched by clicking on the left stick. Depending on the number of squeaks, you will understand what speed you turned on. MJI's traditional crazy mode is three signals. In this rezte copter makes flips when reaching 95% of the stick. In other words - if you do not want to flip, but just want the copter to quickly go in the right direction - try to catch the range from 0 to 94 ... I haven’t succeeded so far, so I fly in medium mode, and in the top I will only study .
Battery: 3.7V 180mAH Flying
time: about 5 minutes (with periodic drops 2 times more :))
Charging time: 30 minutes
Long / width: 86 mm
Height: 20mm
The recognizable shape, good plastic quality, flight stability, the presence of speed and flip control functions make this hexacopter really interesting, especially considering that it costs $ 18.89 .
I did not test its resistance to wind, but I believe that due to its small size and high speed - it could easily fly on the street. Another question could I find him if he fell in the grass. So I'm inclined to consider it still home. Such a hexacopter can be thrown to a shirt pocket and go to visit friends, having raced over a festive table, or maybe even landing in some kind of salad.
That's all, a successful flight wishes you a service for choosing gadgets Dronk.Ru
