The first frames of the film adaptation of WarCraft appeared on the network

    Frostwolves are ready for battle!

Surprisingly, but shooting a film on the cult game universe of WarCraft is finally underway. The film adaptation team was in silence mode, like on a submarine, for several years, and the public did not have any specific information except the release date, June 10, 2016. Now, several frames from the set of the Military Craft have got into the network, which cannot but rejoice. Apparently, after so many years, the film still has to be.

Filming WarCraft is engaged in a fairly eminent company Legendary Pictures. The network published photos of one of the main characters - the orc, as well as a frame from the film with his participation. As you can see in the image at the beginning of the publication, the creators decided to use not only digital processing and a green screen, but also a high-end make-up.

And this is how our hero will look on large screens.

Based on the intended release date, we can conclude that the creators are positioning the film adaptation as, first of all, an exciting summer blockbuster. Given the decades of expectation of the film on the cult universe, the team has a lot of work to do, primarily screenwriters.

Who exactly is depicted in the frames is not mentioned, but, apparently, before us is Durotan himself, the leader of the Frostwolf clan, originating in Draenor, the homeland of the orcs. According to the history of the universe, when Gul'dan came to their settlement and offered to drink the blood of Mannoroth, Durotan flatly refused. He adhered to the traditions of his ancestors and opposed the corruption carried out by Gul'dan, for which the latter declared him and the entire clan illegal. Fearing for the safety of his orcs, Durotan decided to leave for Azeroth. The plot of the film takes place just at the time of the exodus of the orcs in search of a new home and will tell about the first clashes of the Horde under the leadership of Durotan and the Alliance, under the leadership of the noble Lord Anduin Lothar .

By the way, Durotan is the father of that green humanist Thrall , who is familiar to many from the WarCraft III campaign, so there is room for subsequent adaptations.
