DevOps Section at DUMP 2016 Conference
The series of posts about the DUMP conference continues the review of the DevOps section. Section Program Director, Head of DevOps at SKB Kontur Alexey Kirpichnikov said that it would be interesting on April 8 in Yekaterinburg.
In 2016, all hot topics and new growth points will appear at the intersection of development and operations. But no one really understands what the word DevOps means. If you ask me, then I will say that DevOps is about how to stop worrying about operating code in production and not waste time on it.
On April 8, from morning until night, we will talk about how to get rid of the pain of operating the code that you wrote, a little about new tools, but more about how to organize everything correctly.
Interesting? Under a cat shortly about all reports.
So what do you learn at the conference.

Maxim Glekov will explain how they lay out the front-end for projects in the Mail.ru Group (Moscow) in production, talk about the architecture of monitoring the update system, and also show how the dashboard looks, according to which they understand that everything is fine.
2GIS lead developer Denis Yakovlev (Novosibirsk) will tell you how and why 2GIS automated the infrastructure: about the problems with the infrastructure that their teams faced, about how the development and testing processes suffered, about the implementation of OpenStack, and about how automation influenced the development of the entire business.
Danila Shtan , ex-head of the development department at E96.ru , will tell you how, in the process of moving to a new site, they reorganized the environment in which their services live, learned to live without system administrators and formulated such requirements for the preparation of services that would not restrict developers and not complicated the layout and maintenance of services.
We can not do without a heated discussion of the main issue of the industry: does the team need a system administrator and why.

• OS installation
• Software and bios / efi settings
• Troubleshooting
and what to do if you accidentally put a network on several hundred nodes.

If you are a developer, you want to relax and just write code - come to the DevOps section.
