Xiaomi introduced the budget TV Mi TV 2

The Chinese giant Xiaomi announced the new Mi TV 2 model, which received a 40-inch screen with Full-HD resolution and LED backlighting.

The display is framed by a thin frame, the thickness of which is only 14.5 mm, and the back panel will be available in four bright colors: blue, green, yellow and red.



Mi TV 2 runs on the basis of the Android 4.4 KitKat operating system (followed by updating to Android 5.0 Lollipop) and the MIUI firmware.

Mi TV 2 has a Sharp SDP X-GEN LED panel with a resolution of 1920 × 1080 pixels and a contrast ratio of 5000: 1. The “heart” of the TV is the MediaTek MStar 6A908 processor with four Cortex-A9 cores operating at 1.45 GHz, the Mali-450 MP4 graphics accelerator, 1.5 GB DDR3 RAM and 8 GB of internal memory.

Of the features of Xiaomi Mi TV 2, it is worth noting the Dolby MS12 surround sound technology, H.265 hardware decoding, which provides support for such popular formats as MKV, MP4, MOV, TS, AVI and many others. By the way, a smart TV can play the role of an Android game console.



The cost of the TV is 1999 yuan, which is approximately equal to 19,000 rubles.
