The “smart” Wishbone thermometer is connected to the smartphone via the headphone jack and, using an infrared sensor, measures the temperature of a body, air, drink or other object in two seconds. The device works with smartphones on Android and iOS. A fundraising campaign for the project was launched on Kickstarter, the manufacturer plans to launch the delivery of the device in April.

The measurement range is from 0 to 100 degrees Celsius in increments of 0.1 degrees. The accuracy of measuring body temperature is ± 0.2 °. Wishbone uses a passive infrared sensor and is completely silent. All data is saved in the application and is available for viewing and analysis.
