Cheap solar concentrator and steam generator on Arduino. Mirrors and steam up to 250 ° C

Solar energy can be collected and used in many ways. One of the simplest and most effective is a mirror reflector and hub. It is not difficult to make it yourself.
The reflector reflects the sun's rays and concentrates them on containers with water. She heats up and boils, issuing a stream of steam. The design of the device is quite simple, the main thing is that the mirrors automatically rotate to the desired angle and monitor the sun.
The resulting steam is sent, for example, to an oven for cooking, through pipes to heat a house, to a turbine for generating electricity, to an engine, refrigerator, etc. In fact, if you look at some production process, then almost any part of it can be converted to steam.
The home-made Solar-OSE steam generator on linear mirrors with control from the Arduino board became one of the most interesting exhibits at the POC21 French conference of makers dedicated to home-made environmental projects.

Recently, the authors posted in open access under a Creative Commons license assembly instructions for the device. This compact 1 kW meter is great for small businesses, especially in rural areas. If you combine several modules, then the power increases several times.
According to the makers, the cost of all the parts of the steam generator will be approximately $ 2000, but there are various options for saving.
