Google+ isn’t just about men and women

Previously, a choice of only three gender options was available: male, female and “other” (for those who do not want to indicate their gender).

Now four options are offered: masculine, feminine, “refuse to indicate” and “special” (custom). In the latter case, a text box appears where a person can indicate what he pleases, including the characteristics of alien races.

This is the right step to freedom of self-determination. Just as a person can choose his own name and nationality, so he can determine his gender ( more precisely, gender ). In the end, like nationality, the main thing is not in genetic characteristics or physiology, but in how a person feels himself. Therefore, such freedom can only be welcomed.
