Well-known torrent-tracker Demonoid again changed the domain

One of the oldest torrent trackers Demonoid returns with a new domain, demonoid.pw . So far, the owners of the tracker have not officially announced this, but the domain is already working. The tracker has been going through hard times lately. For 20 months the site did not work at all, going offline after a DDoS attack and stopping Ukrainian servers at the direction of the authorities. After returning, the site successfully returned to its former popularity, now it is visited by several million people, which allows it to once again stand on a par with the largest torrent sites.

Perhaps the change of domain name is due to the fact that the site was blocked in Italy two months ago, then, a few days ago, access to the site was closed by the largest Internet provider in the UK. The previous domain name has also been removed from Google search results onrequest of copyright holders .
Most likely, in a few days, the new name will appear in the forefront of Google’s issuance.

Demonoid website was launched in April 2003, and since then it has been periodically attacked by copyright fighters, periodically going offline and changing the domain. Links to pornographic materials and malicious software are not encouraged on the tracker. The tracker is semi-private and registration is possible only through invitations, however, invitations can be issued without restrictions. There are also no restrictions on the ratio of downloaded and distributed traffic.
