What kind of camera does a journalist need?

    What kind of apparatus does a journalist need to make a good photo story?

    This question is being asked again and again. Experts compare models, technical parameters, megapixels ... The

    answer to this question in my opinion is very simple - there can be any camera. The quality of the photo report is in no way connected with the quality of the camera.

    The main thing is the story behind the photos. If a journalist could make out this story and convey it in photographs - no one will remember the technical quality.

    For an example, look at a series of photographs from Afghanistan shot on a primitive mobile phone camera and published on The New York Times.
