Adobe has released updates for its products Adobe Acrobat & Reader ( APSB15-24 ) and Flash Player ( APSB15-25 ). Updates fix a large number of vulnerabilities that can be used by attackers to remotely install malware into a user's system. For Reader / Acrobat products, 25 vulnerabilities have been fixed that allow circumventing the security mechanisms of the Javascript API ( These updates resolve various methods to bypass restrictions on Javascript API execution ).
To update Reader, use the Help menu -> "Check for Updates ...". For current Flash Player versions and Windows web browser update mechanisms, see below.
We recommend updating your Flash Player. Browsers such as Internet Explorer 11 on Windows 8.1 / Win10 and Google Chrome, as well as MS Edge update their versions of Flash Player automatically.
