Apr 20, 2022 · Now when I have an option to design it from the ground up, I was thinking about using ethernet Cat8 cable (point to point; Cat8 as a future proof solution) and using some kind of KVM over IP to transmit 4K/60Hz picture and connect keyboard and mouse to the USB ports. Has anyone tried this kind of solution?

Dec 19, 2022 · Are there any good 4k 120hz KVM Extenders over IP ? I currently have a sim rig where I'm running a 7950X and GeForce 4090 so I'd like to be able to use a KVM for an upstairs control over the PC when I'm using it at 4k 120Hz. I haven't been able to find anything other than 1080 120Hz or 4k 60 hz .
