Mar 4, 2023 · At the university I teach at I can see all login activity, when you connect with another device you are generating a login to canvas which is captured and your professor can see that data.

Jan 18, 2021 · I just broke my phone by putting it in the washer. I can't sign into Canvas because of the Duo Push requirement. I can't contact the help desk because they are closed for the holiday. I have homework due tomorrow, so I'm in a real pickle.

Feb 7, 2022 · If they do check Canvas log, it only catches the more naive people who may have cheated on the exam. As someone who is on the Instructional staff of a course, this is definitely unfair to many students.

Dec 8, 2021 · If it helps at all, you can see what the log looks like in the Canvas docs. The only possibly incriminating thing that could come from it (barring exceptional circumstances) is if you switch tabs or otherwise navigate away from the quiz. If it’s an open note exam, then most of the time your instructors would expect you to move away from the quiz from time to time.
