
Kotlin for Android, or an easy way to stop programming in Java

At our conference of mobile developers # MBLTDev , which was held at the end of October in Moscow, JetBrains product engineer Ilya Ryzhenkov presented a report on the programming language for Android Kotlin .
Kotlin was developed at JetBrains and publicly introduced in 2011. In 2012, source code was opened.

Ilya spoke about the history of the language, the benefits of Kotlin programming, the differences between Kotlin and Java, and what you can do with it. And also showed some code examples on Kotlin for the Android platform.
