Quadrocopters attack birds: several attacks

Quadrocopters are becoming increasingly popular. They are used for video shooting in hard-to-reach places (not so long ago, a copter helped to remove the volcanic eruption), for reconnaissance of various places, for cargo delivery and other purposes. There are more and more drones.
Accordingly, the more quadrocopters rises into the sky, the more various unusual situations and incidents happen. For example, quite often drones are attacked by birds. Yes, and not only birds of prey, but also quite peaceful birds: geese, crows. Probably, it will soon be necessary to invent some way to protect quadrocopters from birds, because the cost of equipment suspended on a copter often exceeds the cost of the copter itself.
One of the most significant cases of bird attack on a copter happened recently: a hawk attacked a device launched by cameraman Christopher Schmidt a couple of days ago. The operator had already heard about similar situations, so he managed to land the copter on the ground before it fell and crashed.
Less fortunate was another operator whose copter was attacked by a group of birds that caused the crash of the aircraft.
A few months earlier, a raven attacked a copter in the desert:
Well, and another case - the attack of a pair of geese on a copter launched by golfers.
And finally, the eagle destroyed an experimental aircraft launched by the RMIT UAS team:
In general, if you are launching copters or other UAVs, be prepared for such incidents. Maybe someone has already created a bird protection system, but for now copters are defenseless.
