Old browsers - old version of Google

Google originally “educates” users who do not update the browser. From August 29, they will be shown the old version of Google.com and the old image search interface. Even in the line with copyright 2013 is indicated.

One of the Google developers spoke at the forum and confirmed that this is not a bug, but a feature. He also posted a link to the WhatBrowser website , where he can update his "program for accessing the Internet."

Judging by the complaints, at least Opera 12.17, Safari 5.1.10 and older users were affected. Some owners of the old "Opera" say they will not fundamentally upgrade to the new version 23, which they strongly dislike.

In this case, the problem is solved by changing the user agent in “opera: config -> User Prefs”, there, in the “Custom User-Agent” field, set the value to “Mozilla / 5.0 (Windows NT 5.1; rv: 31.0) Gecko / 20100101 Firefox /31.0 ”.
