Falcon 9-R prototype explodes during testing

A prototype reusable Falcon 9-R booster rocket exploded during a test flight in the US state of Texas. This rocket was designed in a private California company SpaceX. No one was injured in the explosion.

The test run took place at the McGregor Science and Technology Center, where 250 people work. During the flight, anomalies were detected in the rocket engines, the automatics worked, and in the first seconds after the launch, the Falcon 9-R exploded.

The rocket had three engines. She had to take off first, and then return to the launch pad, similar to the Grasshopper rocket created earlier.
