Forum avast! hacked

According to the blog avast !, their forum has been hacked.
User names, email addresses, logins and passwords (in encrypted form) became available to attackers. The attack affected only the support forum, licenses and financial data were not affected.

The forum was hacked last weekend and how exactly the attackers hacked the forum is not known. At the moment, the forum is stopped and it was decided to transfer it from third-party platforms to its own.

VAST Stackler, CEO of AVAST Software, apologizes and declares that the confidential data is still safe.

According to official figures, 0.2% of all accounts leaked, that is, 400 thousand out of 200 million.
