ANTVR: an interesting competitor Ocululs Rift with a hybrid controller included

All sorts of devices that immerse their owners in virtual reality are becoming quite common. Despite the fact that at first such devices (the same Oculus Rift) were a military development, now virtual reality glasses are used for entertainment.

Of course, the most famous gadget from this category are the twice-mentioned Ocululs Rift. But, since the niche of virtual reality video glasses is quite large, new models appear, from new companies.

The other day there was information about ANTVR video glasses that have a “twist” - a hybrid controller that can be used in shooters like a gun, in games with swords, like a sword, and in any other games, like a regular controller with buttons and other controls.

In addition, ANTVRs are equipped with aspherical lenses, which, according to the developers, do not distort the image around the edges. The gadget is designed in such a way that it can be used by people who wear ordinary optical glasses.

The developers also mention the 9-axis sensor, which responds to player movements. In addition to moving forward / backward, the owner of the glasses can jump, or vice versa, bend down. And the "avatar" in the game will do the same, unless, of course, such a function is provided by the creators of the toy.

The rest of the screen / lenses are slightly different from other devices. This is a 1920 * 1080 display, with a 100 ° diagonal field of view.

The glasses are compatible with PC, Xbox, PlayStation and other devices, including gadgets based on Android OS.

This is a wireless device, many of whose elements are located just in the controller. The battery lasts for 8 hours of play.

Now developers are raising funds to launch mass production of their device, and at the time of writing the news 115570 US dollars have already been collected, of the required 200 thousand. Until the end of the "training camp" - 37 days, so the developers can very well hope for a successful completion of the campaign.

By the way, here is a comparative table of the capabilities of ANTVR and other virtual reality video glasses.

Well and yes, the "early birds" could order this gadget for $ 270. Now the amount of pre-order is 300 dollars and more. Of course, the higher the fee, the more buns the buyer receives.
