DI Telegraph is the first coworking in Russia, the main task of which was not just the creation of a workspace, but the formation of a full-fledged professional community. Future residents of coworking are developers and owners of IT startups that combine creativity and technology, as well as representatives of creative professions. Coworking neighbors will be Dream Industries' projects : Bookmate , Zvooq, and Theory & Practice .

    What is a “professional community"?
In the most general sense, a community is a group of people sharing common values and a common territory. What territory is involved in the case of coworking is obvious. Therefore, we turn to the second component of the definition - values.

The main values of Dream Industries are the dissemination of culture and the exchange of knowledge through technology. These two principles became the basic ones when creating the DI Telegraph coworking. Today, Russia has formed the idea of coworking as a platform that sells a standard set of “chair-table-internet”. We want to move away from this model towards a more progressive Western tradition. If you take as an example projects such as IndyHall in Philadelphia, Betahaus in European cities and 1776 in Washington, you will notice that a thoughtful and purposefully created community requires clear working principles. What are these principles?

    1. People - first of all.
There will be no random people in our coworking. All residents will preliminarily undergo an interview with the supervisor of the coworking. The purpose of this meeting is to take care of the atmosphere in coworking and to understand how DI Telegraph and the potential resident fit together. Our goal is to ensure that all residents of DI Telegraph have the opportunity to meet people who share their values.

    2. Involvement
All co-working residents will be able to take part in educational lectures, master classes, meetings with mentors and experts, joint dinners, mit-ups and many other DI Telegraph events. We encourage any participation and activity. If the coworking administration sees that the resident is not using the opportunities that are provided to him, he may lose his place. The rules stipulate the possibility of revising tariffs or terminating the contract unilaterally.

    3. Mentoring and consulting support.
We are in touch with existing mentor programs and collect our pool of mentors. Among them - Simon Dunlop (Co-founder of Dream Industries), Michael Gere (COO AnchorFree), Anthony Grade(Vice President of Design at Renault).

    4. PR support
. All residents of DI Telegraph will have the opportunity to talk to their media representatives about their projects. To do this, they will need to fill out a small report, which is sent out on the basis of media partners. Also, information on the success of residents will regularly appear on DI Telegraph's own resources: on the site , in blogs and social networks .

    5. Additional services
For an additional fee, residents of coworking will be able to conclude agreements for any type of legal and accounting services with companies whose quality of services was checked by Dream Industries specialists. A courier service, preferential access to photo banks and other services will also appear.

    What's next?
