Medvedev understands Albanian

During the online conference, Russia's First Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev gave way to public interest and answered the question about the “Albanian” language as a subject for systematic study in schools. He preceded his answer with a few words about the Bear, who is a “popular Internet character.” Speaking directly about Albanian, Medvedev noted the impossibility of ignoring the need to learn this “language." “Although, in my opinion, there is no less need to study the Russian language,” he added.

Medvedev defined the Albanian dialect itself as “alternative Russian language” and “the phenomenon that exists today in the Internet environment”: “Someone can say that this is a change in the norms and rules of the Russian language, but it is an existing, developing language environment, living environment , which, incidentally, is nevertheless based on the Russian language. ”

The First Deputy Prime Minister said that this environment is created by Internet products and Internet interaction. The following words that “should be taken into account at least”: “She may like, she may not like” can be considered a kind of commentary on the recent scandal surrounding the initiatives of Deputy Viktor Alksnis.

Before the problems of Russian-Albanian linguistics, Dmitry Medvedev considered another issue, warmly supported by the Internet community. The author of the question, Anton Nosik, formulated it as follows: “I learned with interest from your speech in the State Duma on January 24 that crooks concentrated in pharmaceuticals. Can you name specific names? ” “You know, I once studied as a lawyer, and of course, before the court verdicts came into force, it would not be very correct to give specific names,” said the First Deputy Prime Minister. He further confirmed that such swindlers really exist, and an investigation is underway in their respect.

The question about Fidonet, posed on behalf of Sergei Sokolov, known in Runet under the nickname Mithgol, also found his answer. Dmitry Medvedev, as it turned out, was preparing for him ahead of time - he registered with Fido on the eve of the conference. After gaining an understanding of the “beast,” the First Deputy Prime Minister shared his definition of this network with the audience. He lacks, in his opinion, hypertext.

Answering a question about the development of affordable unlimited Internet in the regions, Medvedev assured that the state is investing specifically in the development of the “wide band”. He illustrated the work in this direction by the example of schools connected within the framework of the national project “Education”.
