Today, at CES 2014, Intel introduced a dual-core computer the size of an SD card with built-in WiFi and Bluetooth on the previously introduced Quark SoC . In addition, the computer runs on Linux and can connect to a special app store.
It is assumed that the computer will be used to develop new wearable devices, and Intel would not have been Intel if it had not created an incentive competition for the development of such devices - “Make it Wearable” with a prize pool of $ 1.3 million and $ 500,000 for first place was announced immediately at the exhibition.
