Viks Bluetooth Vibro-Bracelet VI-T2: accessory for ladies who do not respond to calls

You won’t surprise anyone with smart watches today - such devices are in the lines of Sony, Samsung and a number of Chinese manufacturers. However, all these accessories are designed primarily for men - for a lady’s pen, they are not like. Last week I was with my wife in an electronics supermarket, where I found a stand with a Samsung Galaxy Gear watch. I do not really like this kind of gadgets (the reasons are described here ), but the concept seemed interesting to my wife. All would be fine, but the Galaxy Gear on her wrist looked like ... In general, they looked very inappropriate there. It’s like a signet ring on an elegant female finger.

And on the third day I got for testing several Viks Bluetooth bracelets Vibro-Bracelet VI-T2, which my dear tried on ...

This accessory should not be classified as a smart watch, although its purpose is similar; the hero of this post is a useful decoration rather than a watch. The bracelet is focused primarily on ladies.

Viks Bluetooth Vibro-Bracelet VI-T2 connects to phones and smartphones via Bluetooth. When an incoming call arrives, it starts to vibrate, and it is very noticeable. Feeling the vibration, the girl should catch herself and get a mobile phone from the bowels of her handbag. However, you can not get it: the bracelet can independently receive calls, since the speaker and microphone are provided in it. (There are two buttons in the device for receiving / rejecting calls, settings, and so on.) True, this is not worth using, because in case of lengthy conversations “through the bracelet”, he will live on one charge for not two days, but less than one. And then: everyone around you will clearly hear the details of your conversation, since, in fact, the speaker here is a speakerphone system.

The minus in this whole story is one, and serious, - the bracelet can only display subscriber numbers. Their names in the address book are alas. At least that is the case with Android smartphones. iPhone can also show names, but only if they are "clogged" with the Latin alphabet.

Notifications of new mail, an alarm, SMS and MMS come in the form of a sound signal - in fact, the corresponding melodies from the phone are played. A2DP music is also played, although, of course, the bracelet will not replace the speakers (even portable ones).

The device also displays the time - to do this, click on the button. We convey the fiery greetings of the sixth generation iPod nano, which many used just like a watch.

The screen on the Viks Bluetooth Vibro-Bracelet VI-T2 is small and not too bright; white characters are displayed on a black background, the fonts are nice. The display is inscribed in black space - see photos. The rest of the device may be golden pearl, black, white or red. At the same time, I consider it necessary to emphasize once again that the model is focused primarily on women. To imagine a normal healthy man with such a thing in my hand does not work out for me.

The outside of the bracelet is completely glossy, while the inside is trimmed with something like rubber. Well, or you can call it a soft touch, not the point - the main thing is that the hand is nice. The bracelet’s weight is not specified by the developers, but it doesn’t weigh more than the average watch. He does not particularly bother his hand.

Another useful feature is the automatic inclusion of vibration at a distance of 10 meters from the phone. That is, if a lady forgets him on the nightstand in the hallway and runs down the stairs, then there are chances that she will come to her senses and return. The vibration is really strong - it is impossible not to feel it.

Viks Bluetooth VI-T2 Vibro-Wristband is charged using such a thing: The

clip attaches to two contact pads on the inside of the wristband. Not too elegant solution: microUSB port, since it is thin, it would look more appropriate here.

But in general - a curious little thing. You can give a girl who is at odds with her phone and regularly misses calls. Unlike the same Samsung Galaxy Gear, Viks bracelet is quite a female. It costs 3 thousand rubles. In my opinion, the price is adequate. But I would be ready to give for it 4 thousand, if not for the moment described above with the display of numbers, not names.
