Ballpoint pen for creating conductive drawings raised 477 thousand dollars on Kickstarter instead of 85 thousand

Now in the world a lot of all sorts of ideas are realized that are designed to make our lives easier. One of these realized ideas is the Circuit Scriber ballpoint pen, designed for drawing conductive lines / patterns on plain paper. So, within a couple of minutes, you can sketch a working (although probably not very complicated) electrical circuit, checking its operation.

It is worth noting that the applied lines are not smeared on paper, which will help keep the owner of such a pen in order.

The pen can be used, for example, by children, for teaching radio business / electrical engineering. They can be used by professionals in their field, to quickly create a work scheme, and to verify it.

The authors of the project suggested several options for using the pen, in addition, they showed in practice the possibility of assembling systems based on Arduino, Makey Makey and other platforms, using the “drawings” of their pen.

It is worth noting that the authors have already raised 477 thousand dollars from the planned 85 thousand (!) On kickstarter. But there is still 22 days left until the end of the fundraising.

For a certain amount of money, “investors” get not only a pen, but also electronic components that allow you to quickly create the appropriate circuitry on paper.
