Aastra A400 Communication Platform Expansion Card Review (A470)
This article will discuss the new (relatively) communication platform from Aastra - Aastra 400. In particular, we will consider which expansion modules (boards) this solution has for the older model in the line - A470.
Aastra 400 consists of three communication servers for serving companies of various sizes.
Aastra 415 and Aastra 430 systems can be used in smaller companies and are designed to serve up to 12 and / or up to 50 employees.
The Aastra 430 in its standard use provides more connections and a total of four instead of two expansion slots.
Both systems have a modular and basically the same design:
The standard version of Aastra 470 is designed for 36 users. The capacity of the communication server can be expanded to service up to 256 subscribers.
In addition, the Aastra 470 platform can be equipped with an integrated application server (CPU2). This server provides the ability to efficiently integrate innovative communications services into the A400 system.
