The first hackathon in Alfa Bank. From the scene
Hello, friends!
In Alfa-Bank, in the same laboratory, which is engaged in the creation and improvement of "Klika" and "Mobile" today is the first hackathon. I’ll briefly talk about how we launched it all this morning, and if you have questions (ask in the comments!), I’ll answer the next post.
So today, November 15th at 12:00 hackathon began. A total of 7 teams are involved (an average of 5-6 people per team). Each team presented the idea (two minutes for a presentation) and went to implement projects.
Hackathon projects should be related to banking. Many decided to break away and make things about which they had long thought, but for which there was no time among the current tasks.
And yes, we made a sign of the event at which two men sawing. From afar, it looks like a good-natured smiley. So it was conceived.
The main prize is about a million rubles for the development and launch of the winning idea, and subject to monetization and commercial success, the bank is ready to share profit with the developers.
In Alpha, IT projects attach great importance (as historically happened), and the bank’s CEO, Alexei Marey, came to greet the team.
