Microsoft Launches Remote Desktop App for iOS and Android

Microsoft has released its Remote Desktop application for iOS and Android devices.
The application allows you to connect to a remote PC and to your work resources from almost anywhere, and the application also allows you to use RemoteFX technology with gesture support for Windows on mobile devices. In addition, the new mobile RDP application has the following functions:

• Access to remote resources through the Remote Desktop Gateway (RDG)
• Convenient touch control
• Secure connection using the network authentication level (NLA)
• Simple management of all remote connections from the communication center
• High quality streaming video and sound using traffic compression
• Easy connection to external monitors or projectors for presentations
