Turbofilm removed copyright infringing series

It seems that the so-called "anti-piracy law" began to apply, and it turned out to be quite effective, if only in one, so far, case. This afternoon the news was published on Habré that “the court ordered the Federal Service for Supervision in the Sphere of Telecommunications, Information Technologies and Mass Communications and other persons to stop creating technical conditions that ensure the placement, distribution and other use of the above serial films on rutor.org and turbofilm.tv information and telecommunication network "Internet" ". So, "Turbofilm" has already deleted the ill-fated series, which caused the claims of the copyright holder.

The series turned out to be "The Computer Specialists" ("The IT Crowd") - probably, a lot of people watched all the seasons of this series on Habré, although there are not many seasons. So, the removal of the series occurred on the evening of August 7, about which users of the resource wrote on Twitter.

It is clear that Turbofilm does not want to lose users, plus it is at risk of blocking not some materials / sections, but the entire contents of the resource. It may well be that the “anti-piracy law” will still apply, although you and I do not really like it.

I wonder how quickly the copyright holder will respond to the removal of the series. It would also be interesting to know if rutor.org is going to remove the TV series Interns, Sasha, Tanya and Univer. New hostel ”, which also caused claims of copyright holders. In any case, we already see how this whole system began to work.
