AppClub Kyiv {build, monetize} - club for mobile enthusiasts and professionals

Recently in Kiev we organized a club for mobile enthusiasts and professionals called AppClub Kyiv . The first meeting was dedicated to the global launch of Windows 8 in the world and brought together about 25 participants. Before that, we had organized meetings of User Groups for several years, so the idea was not born out of nowhere.



Club goals: professional communication on the topic of mobile development, promotion and monetization, as well as providing mobile startups with the opportunity to talk about themselves and get live feedback. Platforms do not matter much.

We plan to discuss topics such as:

• development and promotion
• monetization schemes
• how to work directly with various App Store
• legal issues of mobile developers
• mobile trends and prospects
• crowdfunding and crowdsourcing

Deep Dive into Windows Phone and Windows 8 development

On December 20, we will hold the second AppClub Kyiv meeting, where practical aspects of development for Windows Phone 8 and Windows 8 will be considered. We will share exclusively practical experience in developing successful projects.

Planned reports:

1. We are migrating WP7 applications to Windows Phone 8.
2. Improving the performance of your Windows Phone applications.
3. Windows 8 Application Development: A Real Experience.

Also on December 3, the Microsoft Ukraine Ukraine office will host Windows Phone 8 Camp, a one-day event dedicated to developing applications for Windows Phone 8.
