Canonical hires creator Faenza to work on new Ubuntu icons
When asked if we would see any changes in appearance in Ubuntu 13.04, Mark Shuttleworth replied:
Yes. We hired a great Matthew James and are ready to start an icon redesign project.
In addition to designer Faenza, Mark also shared plans for collaboration with a university team of experts in typography, design and iconography, and also said that the Ambiance and Radiance were completely revised.
